Because there are all sorts of sites out there that tell you how to build a shower (and since I don’t build these myself), I am going to stick with something those other folks don’t tell you the products I specify on a shower that can never, ever leak. Prisons are effectively human warehouses designed to manage ‘untouchable toxic waste’ 2 in conditions of maximum security with minimum respect for human rights and dignity. In the United States and the United Kingdom, the prison has become little more than an instrument of vengeful and retributive penal policy that isolates offenders from the rest of society. Behind these cold, hard statistics lies a story that - were it happening to almost any other group of people on the planet - would probably be described in terms of a humanitarian crisis.
